Bagging

The SEMO Milling bagging facility incorporates a high-speed bagging line into a modern, food grade warehouse with plenty of available storage space. The product is unloaded via truck or rail inside our covered receiving building. The product is carefully transferred by a conveyor to a sanitary, food grade, pneumatic conveying system. The pneumatic systems gently move the product by pressurized air throughout the process.

We have the flexibility to bag a large variety of grain and food products efficiently, providing a comprehensive and competitive solution to accommodate your bagging needs.

Logistics/Transfer of Products

SEMO Milling has the capability of transferring any custom product from and to truck, rail or barge for water transport on the Mississippi River. Our facility is able to transfer bulk or bagged products into 20’ or 40’ enclosed containers, on LASH or River Barges. Our 50-ton, in-house bridge crane can easily handle containers and sling product for product loading and staging. The bagged product also may be staged for transfer to our barge loading facility located on-site.
