Delivery
SEMO Milling firmly believes in on-time delivery and developing systematic
processes that will efficiently and effectively deliver product to meet
or exceed the customers' expectations. Each customer account will be assigned
a Customer Service Representative that will be responsible for knowing
the customers' schedule and requirements and will be dedicated to ensuring
that the product is delivered to their specifications on time. SEMO Milling
has the ability to deliver by:
Truck
SEMO Milling has strategically built covered load-out and delivery
areas that connect directly with the mill. We are located four miles east
of Highway I-55 on Nash Road, approximately 100 miles south of St. Louis.
Rail
SEMO Milling has access to both Union Pacific and Burlington Northern Santa
Fe Railroads, creating competitive transportation rates to most locations. SEMO
Milling will be leasing a fleet of rail cars in order to ensure car availability
and having a dedicated fleet that is food-grade specific. Bagged rail shipments
will be properly backed and stowed in a manner that insures the integrity of
the product once it reaches its destination.
Container/Barge
By container and barge, SEMO has the ability for water transport
via the Mississippi River, with direct access to New Orleans, Lake Charles, Pensacola,
and Houston. Our facility is able to transfer bulk or bagged products into 20’ or
40’ enclosed containers, on LASH or River Barges. |
